  • Demand 5-7% SFMTA Cuts

    On September 2, 2025, the SF Chronicle reported that SFMTA’s CFO directed all divisions within the agency to reflect 5 to 7% cuts in the 2026 budget cycle. To date, no confirmed update has reflected any public-facing evidence of budget cuts.

    Current "Housing First" models place newly sober individuals in settings with active drug use. Supervisor Matt Dorsey has introduced an ordinance for Drug-Free Permanent Supportive Housing. See his X post.

  • Amend Real Property Transfer Tax

    Mayor Lurie with early support from Supervisors Mahmood, Sauter and Dorsey are proposing to reverse Prop I (2020). The action is aimed to help jump-start the construction of thousands of housing units that are approved but stalled due to economic infeasibility.

  • Oppose the Sprinkler Mandate

    SF has recently mandated the retroactive installation of automatic fire sprinkler systems in 126 buildings built before 1974. The estimated cost to each apartment owner: $250,000, the cost per building: $20 million and the total cost to all affected buildings citywide: $2 billion.
