Concerned About District 1?

SOAR (Save Our Amazing Richmond) is a growing neighborhood group in San Francisco's District 1. SOAR focuses on addressing critical issues such as rising crime rates, increasing homelessness, public health challenges, and the economic struggles of our local businesses. By mobilizing concerned residents and providing a platform for community engagement, we aim to create positive change within our neighborhood and the city. We encourage D1 residents to stay informed by signing up for our email list, which helps keep our community connected and empowered. Together we will tackle the pressing issues affecting our district and San Francisco! Join SOAR Now!

We are an all-inclusive non-partisan group of neighbors who care about our community and our city and are working to make a difference. We found one another on NextDoor in late 2019 with a goal of finding and electing an effective District One Supervisor. Our focus has been on working together to find solutions to what we have agreed are the central issues in our neighborhood.

  • Safer Neighborhood Streets

  • Shelter, not Street Camping

  • Strong and Effective City Leadership

  • An End to Open Air Drug Use and Dealing

  • Improved Mental Health Services

  • Thriving Business Corridors
