Welcome to Rebuild D6!
We are a local group of citizens who care about our special community, comprising of SoMa, the East Cut, Mission Bay, Yerba Buena and Treasure Island. Our goal is to help educate and engage constiutents on things happening in our area to make informed decisions and get to know like-minded neighbors. We are not a political organization or anything that requires a formal membership, all that’s needed to join us is to simply sign up for our emails using the form below.
What We Care About
Public Safety
The increase of crime in our community, especially since COVID, has become undeniable. For the people of our district, specifically, this is one of the biggest issues we currently face. Rebuild D6 aims to address this head-on and help residents find real solutions to feel safe in their own home.
Supporting Businesses
Our business corridor is one of the best in the world: not only do we have a full stack of tech giants with their headquarters in District 6, but we also have a vibrant community of small/local businesses. Our goal is to uplift businesses of all kinds and help restore this neighborhood to the bustling place of business it once was.
Strong Leadership
We want to hold elected officials accountable and ensure they serve the community as solutions-oriented, agents of change. Knowing what our elected officials say, do, and spend is critical to our district’s revitalization. Rebuild D6 looks to engage with neighborhood leaders to make sure they are fulfilling their civic duty and steering our ship in .

Everyone’s welcome to enjoy this 5.4 acre public park, a living roof where a curved walking trail lined with benches surrounds grassy lawns, dancing fountains, a children’s play area, and an amphitheater.
While we love our four-legged friends, dogs are not allowed at Salesforce Park, which is home to delicate plants and habitat and 13 unique ecosystems. Service Dogs allowed.
Seventy feet above the Grand Hall, the Park runs the entire length of the Transit Center’s nearly four-block stretch. Home to 600 trees and 16,000 plants arranged in 13 different botanical feature areas, this iconic public park destination in the San Francisco Bay Area is open and enjoyment of all...and there’s nothing else like it anywhere.

Opened to the public in 1993, YBCA was founded as the cultural anchor of San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Gardens neighborhood. Our work spans the realms of contemporary art, performance, film, civic engagement, and public life. Centering artists as essential to social and cultural movement, YBCA is reimagining the role an arts institution can play in the community it serves.
