We need long-term structural change in the City. Other moderate groups operate from a Top Down structure - where internal policy analysis, subsequent promotion of specific viewpoints, and work behind the scenes pushes legislation and policy. We applaud this work. But electoral wins borne without grassroots support will be random and unsustained.
For the People, By the People is how it works. Always has been, always will be.
